Our volunteer
program includes the following requirements:
18
years of age or older
Commit
to volunteer at a minimum of 4 hours per month.
Agree to attend an orientation meeting and/or training as necessary depending on position
Some
of the volunteer positions within Cooper's Chance Animal Rescue require special training. Due to insurance
reasons, not all volunteers will be allowed to handle animals. Special training and safety requirements are required when
coming in contact with any of our animals.

be required prior to placement of first foster animal
Foster homes are an important part of our rescue
mission. These homes provide a safe, loving environment for a rescued animal awaiting adoption. The Foster A Pet Program is
not only rewarding, but it's a great way to care for an animal without the long term commitment of ownership. By
opening your heart and home to these animals, you are giving them a second chance in life. As a foster parent, all you need
to give is food, shelter, love, time and a nurturing environment. We take care of the rest.
If you are interested in joining our Foster A Pet Program, please submit an application. Remember to
be as specific as possible in the application, as we want to match you with a pet that meets your needs and requirements.

Our Youth Volunteer program is for everyone who is 14-17 years old.
If you are interested in volunteering and want to help rescued animals, you may volunteer for this program with the consent
and permission of your parents or legal guardian. If you are interested in volunteering,
please email send an email to cooperschance@yahoo.com. You must be between 14 and 17 years old at the time you submit your application. We must be able to confirm
all information with your parent or legal guardian. Also, a parent or legal guardian must attend orientation and training
with the participant.
